The world has seen a beyond-exponential growth in the information that is now available online. However traditional forms of communications still exist with business cards, brochures, invitations and pamphlets. Graphic design is the use of space, colour & typography to effectively communicate the intended message to the intended audience.

Grunge Engagement Invitation Design
Invite
The Wedding and Engagement invitation market is saturated with run-of-the-mill templates that are allow very little room for customisation for a couple's particular style and taste. Our client's brif was to create something completely unique for their Engagement invitation design - something that had elements of Indian culture, and also mixed the old with the new.
We produced a grungey, Indian-inspired, Earthy-toned composition for our client. The colours gave a very warm and inviting feel to the design. Using cultural influences, we successfully managed to bring out the old and the new in what our client called "an amazing invite - better then what I had in mind!"

Ipod Style Silhouettes Youth Questionnaire

The London Borough of Havering Integrated Youth Services (IYS) run a wide range of activities and services for young people. They contacted us to help them encourage members to take part in a confidential survey on youth centres, youth information shops, residential trips, arts and sports, education projects and much more.
We created an innovative and fresh looking booklet that captures the essence of youth culture. The survey, which we titled "What you thinking?" was distributed in high schools would them to measure the services they offer to 13-19 year olds. Our brochure design was also ported to an online form.

Swan Reflections Compact Disc Layout
CD / DVD
Our client requested a new CD sleeve designed that made use of symbolic graphics from ancient India. Use of colour was to be minimal.
Our research revealed that a swan is very much esteemed by the ancient Vedic teachings - it is regarded as a noble creature. We re-titled the CD to "Reflections" and using the swan graphic, put this composition together. Our client made note of the touch-of-class effect we had created and the non-typical design we had put together for them.

krishnasoc.com we got soul tshirt design
T-shirt
Our client was relaunching their brand for a number of upcoming university freshers fairs nationwide. A key part of their relaunch was a new t-shirt which they commissioned us to design for them. It had to be simple, with a 1-colour print, and memorable.
For maximum contrast we decided to have a white design printed on a black t-shirt. The front side consisted of my client's logo across the width, and the back had a memorable slogan. It formed a vital part of my client's brand presence.

DVD re-design for Veggie Steady Cook
CD / DVD
Our client had a poorly designed layout for a promotional DVD, and they wanted us to tidy it up and simplify the design so that it was not an eyesore.
Firstly, we suggested using better quality photos and less of them. Secondly, we suggested use of fruit and vegetable photos in order to add some much needed colour to the composition. Our client was very please with the re-design and ran a 1000-run print of the DVDs.

Bhagavad Gita CD Layout
CD / DVD
Our client wanted a modern design for a gift CD that they would give to thousands of volunteers. They wanted to avoid floral patterns and bright colours - instead they were after a clean and striking design.
We put together a composition using a famous picture from the epic Bhagavad Gita itself to create this monotone design. The design was very well received, and our client remarked on how it was very different from their previous design style.

Kala Gathani Kathak Dance Graduation
Brochure
Kala Gathani is a fresh and dedicated dancing talent. She emerges from a prestigious tradition of Kathak dancers that have graced the world with their delicate, electric, nimble and precise renditions of ancient histories. This Kathak Rang Manch Pravesh marks the graduation of a young dance student from her dance guru or teacher, and also the first public performance of the best pieces she has learnt under him.
We delivered a fusion of Indian elegance and whitespace minimality in a brochure that brought the photos of our young dancer to life - the graduation event was also graced by the legendary Akram Khan - dancer and choreographer of contemporary kathak, who also contributed his thanks in the brochure.
