Background: After taking over the management of a national body of university socieities, our client approached us to redo their existing Wordpress website. The main problem was that multiple Wordpress installations were employed for each university society - this was a scalability nightmare! Our client wanted a fresh start, and most importantly, a site that could accomodate and sustain future growth.
Output: We developed a system that allowed individual university socieities to log in to the one website, and for them to then create content for their own society's section on the main site. The benefits of the system were quickly realised when new university socieities were setup and needed to be added to the system. This took minutes, as opposed to hours, as was the case before. Our client was very pleased with the new look site and the feature-rich content management system.
