The world has seen a beyond-exponential growth in the information that is now available online. However traditional forms of communications still exist with business cards, brochures, invitations and pamphlets. Graphic design is the use of space, colour & typography to effectively communicate the intended message to the intended audience.

Anti Proxy Sales Awareness Campaign

Poster
We were commissioned to design a strong campaign poster informing the public that buying or selling age-restricted products for or to minors can result in fines, possible licence loss, and in some serious cases, imprisonment.
The poster we created, undeniably grabbed the attention of on-lookers, and it helped to inform and warn the majority of the public who were unaware of the repercussions of proxy sales involving minors. The campaign was memorable and simple – helping to make a real difference. As a result, further information on how verification can be made by identification was provided to outlets, fulfilling the overall aim of reducing the increased number of proxy sales seen in local areas.

Clean and fresh Summer University Poster Campaign

Brochure
For this project it was important to meet the new branding requirements that saw the replacement of the previous “summer uni” to “futureversity”. In addition, it was important to our client to have a contrasting colour scheme, as well as to give emphasis on the course being “free” and the range of courses available.
The final design was visually inviting with bold typeface and strong colours. In particular the client was happy with the photography that we had sourced as it portrayed the courses well. Overall, we got a thumbs up for the clean and informative book layout.

The Good The Bad and the Bullied DVD

Poster, CD / DVD
Our client, the youth services in Havering, wanted to raise awareness amongst parents and teachers about the affects of bullying within schools through a docudrama produced by school kids.
We commissioned school kids to draw illustrations in an artwork competition in collaboration with an illustrator, they were very excited to be involved in the process and see their efforts finalised into a campaign. We used vivid colours on the illustrations, and this resulted in exciting posters, flyers and DVD covers. In particular, our client liked the depiction of good and the bad fighting away for justice that we had put together.

Children's Centre Services In Local Council

Pamphlet
This project required providing up to date information on the children’s care option available to constituents of Havering, as well as representing the diversity of children under five years of age from different ethnic minority communities. Branding from previous leaflets had to be incorporated for consistency.
The visual style of the guide very much celebrated the diversity of the community, and was received so positively by parents, that the distribution centres ran out of copies and had to order a reprint.

We were brought in to help promote the heritage walks of Havering using archived images through a variety of print media - posters, postcards and pull-up banners.

Grunge Engagement Invitation Design
Invite
The Wedding and Engagement invitation market is saturated with run-of-the-mill templates that are allow very little room for customisation for a couple's particular style and taste. Our client's brif was to create something completely unique for their Engagement invitation design - something that had elements of Indian culture, and also mixed the old with the new.
We produced a grungey, Indian-inspired, Earthy-toned composition for our client. The colours gave a very warm and inviting feel to the design. Using cultural influences, we successfully managed to bring out the old and the new in what our client called "an amazing invite - better then what I had in mind!"
